Food Pantry for People & Pets in NH

Our Food Pantry is available for any New Hampshire resident who may be struggling with food insecurity for themselves or their pets. We do not want any adult, child or pet to go hungry due to circumstances. We are a confidential, judgement free space.
We decided to do this because we know how it feels. On Dec 23, 1986, I, Dori (owner of the Animal Care Center of NH & Professional Pet Sitting Etc) was a single parent with a 4 month old child, 2 dogs and 4 kitties. We lost everything in a fire(all people and pets survived). We were homeless for 6 months and not sure where our next meal would be. It is one of the hardest things I have ever been through and hope that we can lessen the burden for some people.

LOBBY Open for donations – 830 am to 930 am, Monday – Friday
Lobby not open – Holidays or Weekends, Closed for Christmas – Dec 24 – Jan 3
- Donations can be left any time 930am-330pm however, Doors are LOCKED during the day while we are in Dog Group
- Busiest times that are NOT great for dropping off are before 830am or after 330pm, as these are our busy times for dogs being dropped off or picked up.
- If you see any dog in our lobby, please wait outside.
- When DOORS ARE LOCKED – you can leave items by our front door. We will be alerted by our cameras and come up when we can to bring items in.
- Do not drop off when our Lobby is closed on holidays, weekends, vacations. Check Dates below.
- LOBBY Closed ALL Holidays, Weekends
- Closed Nov 26 – 30 for Thanksgiving Holiday
- Closed Dec 24 – Jan 4, 2026 for Christmas and New Year Holiday Vacation

- We may not be able to accommodate all times, but if we can we will try
- SCHOOL DELAYS OR CLOSINGS – if school is delayed or closed due to weather, the lobby will be closed as well.
DONATIONS NEEDED
Needed For People Pantry
- Shelf Stable foods such as rice, pasta, lentils, beans, powdered milk, etc
- Canned Goods such as vegetables, soups, fruit, gravy, etc
- We can accept limited fresh items, such as breads, fresh vegetables
Needed For Pet Pantry
- Canned food and dry food for CATS – any brand
- Kitten Chow
- Canned food and dry food for DOGS
- Treats for dogs and cats
FREE Little Library – Can donate or take books for library, everyone is free to use this

Note –
- Very Easy to donate items, just click on item, add to your cart and it will be shipped directly to us!
- I made the list of items that I thought people may need or want, you can add items that you wish to donate that are not on the list
- Cat items are marked priority as cat items tend to be overlooked and there are more cat owners
- ALSO if items are in BULK, we will open and place items singly, so one person does not get 12 boxes of Mac and cheese for example.

- Please instruct delivery to be left at doors if doors are locked, we will be alerted by our cameras and will get items soon. Let us know when a delivery may be coming. Avoid weekend/holiday or closed days for deliveries.
