What Does My Dog Learn in an Enrichment Play Daycare Program
The short answer – ALOT!!!
If your dog is coming 5 days a week, your dog will have a very balanced routine of learning new things and practicing old things every day.
Everything we do reinforces and compounds things that they learn.
we encourage every person to sign your dog up for a group obedience class and to go to the next advanced class, even if you think your dog listens. Why? To give you and your dog a good base to start from. Then reinforce it everyday. The more your dog learns the happier they are. The more you both learn together, the more communication you share.
What is learned when we do a photo session
Patience, direction, watch me – eye contact, sit, down, learning to place body
Puzzles
patience, wait, okay, uses nose and brain, confidence
Barkuterie Boards and other treats
patience, wait, okay, they learn to try new things to eat
What about the weird days, that include blow up creatures, etc.
they learn that new things are fun not scary, they get to slowly investigate in a safe environment, they see their friends not being scared and they get to have treats with each new situation.
